I could write a million words, or at least a couple hundred trying to describe my art to you. Let's just say that I'm an artist because it's always been something that has kept me at peace. I also didn't want to go to medical school to please my father, so perhaps it was teenage rebellion that really set me up.
Art is about beauty and aesthetics on the surface, but art as a vehicle and tool for communication and ideas, and as an intellectual endeavor, are what draw me to it.
My art is about relationships. My design is about clarity. My photography is about honesty. All of these ideas are intertwined and part of my everyday life. My art is also about confusing my mother. She'll never understand why I photograph dumpsters or trash or other random things in the street. At least she loves me unconditionally, right?
