I'm currently a senior Graphic Design major at Boston University in a five year MFA in Studio Teaching program. Yes, I want to teach your kids art. No, really, I do. The arts are essential to any education.
The usual responses I get when I tell people that I was born and raised in Iowa are:
1) Good for you! 2)Where is that? 3)Oh, Ohio, yeah! 4)What do people DO there? 5)You grow potatoes right? 6)So, how's that working out for you?

I'm an audiophile, spend too much on concert tickets, bake pies, eat gummi bears, and I have crazy straws (for root beer floats of course!). Also, I just spent time living and studying in Venice, so you can feel free to ask me about that and how it must have been a "life changing experience".
